My remark:
Do you know about Kampung Baru? Kampung in Malay means "Village", Baru in Malay means "New". Actually here is the Malay community where you can enjoy many kinds of Malay cuisine, like satay, grill fish, rojak, nasi lemak and kuih-muih (desserts). Just next to the New Hotel call Tamu Hotel & Suites, a Muslim friendly hotel. Heard that the food stall will be opened from about 6pm but now (MAY 2019) is Ramadan season maybe timing will be changed. Normally this Ramadan period, fasting will be finished about 7.30pm. After that, Buka Puasa, Muslim will start to take dinner. Surrounding Tamu Hotel & Suites, you will find some stall like wet market, it will be connect to Chow Kit wet market. Please explore more when you come down.
